Today I woke up thinking if the song, I could only remember one line. How lucky was I when I visited the Distribution center to purchase a set of scriptures only to find the song playing. I had to download it very fast. It's a very inspiring song! As a child of light, I was meant to shine!
I love this song it always brings me to tears. It was my young women's girl camp song and holds a special place in my heart for all the miracles the Lord has done for with this song.
This is a beautiful song. I do know that God does exist and lives. I needn't prove what's in my heart, I only have to live life the way God would like me to live. An absolutely beautiful song! So spiritually uplifting! I definitely can't deny that!

In this generation we are privileged to be a part of that great army to welcome the Savior when He returns. A banner was fashioned by our pioneer ancestors as a symbol of the restored Gospel. We are the ones privileged to hold that banner high as an ensign to the world of light and truth!!! Those pioneers are watching us. What a blessing to be born at this time!!! I hope each of us feels this way.

If so, that's too bad--I think there is a lot of wonderful things to celebrate about this religious tradition, as there are many wonderful things to celebrate about other religious traditions as well. This sounds more like a Disney song than a religious song, but either way it's beautiful. Even though I'm not strictly religious (sometimes I get confused and believe in a 'god' but also science) I honesty want to sing this.

Then you have profoundly missed the point of this song. Yes God guides us, but He doesn't leave us alone unless we push Him away. That's the point of this song, that regardless of our trials, so long as we hold on to the Savior and our Heavenly Father then we won't be alone. He can offer us comfort, but He can't take our struggles for us. Those are our burden to not only bear, but to grow from, to be strengthened. Once you understand the nature of your burdens you can relinquish them.
