It should be noted that The Father took The Son and The Daughter to Mortis, they’re not originally from Mortis. It’s possible that Peridea is their actual homeworld.

Ahsoka and Andor are the best things to happen in Star Wars in a long time. I say that as someone who had at least liked everything else. Havent hated anything we've seen.

Sabine using the force isn’t the craziest idea, her lineage does trace back to that of Tarre Vizsla. (The first Mandalorian Jedi)

I think sabine's emotional moment came from both having saved Ezra and the talk she had with Ahsoka on the ship before they left. Ahsoka swearing to always be there for her and the two of them connecting through their bond. that talk may not have looked like much but Ahsoka tapped into the dark side when she thought sabine was dead, and when the time came to go back home she choose to stay with Ahsoka. So given the strength of their bond and knowing that Ahsoka has essentially promised to be for her what Anakin was for Ahsoka was huge i think. So getting Ezra back managed to finally open the door, connecting with Ahsoka via their bond pushed it further and finally having that talk finally opened the door all the way for her.

i love how the zombie stormtroopers all the sudden have way worse mics on their helmets. i love hearing the mics on the helmets peak, and static and garble, it was so cool and scary

Imagine a Thrawn battle where you jump back and forth between him explaining his plan and it being executed. I think they need to get more creative to really show his thoughtfulness in its fullness

Hey, one little easter egg is that the stormtrooper Ezra that uses for a disguise was in Rebels. LS-757. Just thought you should know that.

I definitely felt that there were so many scenes/moments that didn't QUITE work for me but I could so easily picture the animated characters doing and seeing these things.

I agree about the first time we see Sabine use the Force; at the same time, I do like the parallel with Luke retrieving his lightsaber on Hoth, one of the first times we see him intentionally use the Force.

An interesting mythological parallel to the Ahsoka series is that of the Iliad/Odyssey. The Iliad being about the battle itself (season 1), and the Odyssey being all about the long and arduous journey home afterwards (season 2).

I can already tell how Xiono would react to Ezra

one could argue that because ventress' body was submerged in a pool of "the magic water" instead of the traditional way the night sisters "cocoon" their dead, that she wouldn't be a mindless zombie if resurrected.

As for Baylan and Shin's story - at this point, I'm all in on 100% trusting that Dave, Jon and the rest of the crew drop story development when it's ready.

  • @robcapuano1994

Thrawn absolutely seems more threatening in Ahsoka than most Imperial officers ever in the history of Star Wars.

Imma be honest, I think the reason the Daughter statue looks different in live action is cus Filoni didn't want people asking "Why is that headless statue showing so much cleavage??" I know, it's a boring and crass answer, but we all know that George Lucas made alot of... interesting calls when it came to character design in TCW and that, left to his own devices, Filoni has tried to walk some of that back. Two examples that come to mind are Ahsoka in TCW vs. Tales of the Jedi and Suu Lawquane in TCW vs. The Bad Batch. Under Filoni's watch, both their outfits became more modest (and, frankly, more practical), and while I know that the Daughter is a literal deity and can wear whatever she pleases, it seems like Filoni would probably try to simplify her outfit to not be as conspicuous to live action viewers.

I thought the first time Sabine touched the force was when she felt Ahsoka call out to her. I feel like that's a much better moment. Also something I just remembered. I know that the Book of Sith isn't cannon. But in it there's a section written by Mother Talzin. It mentions the Mortis gods. It mentions the Son and the Daughter as the Fanged God and the Winged Goddess. It didn't mention the Father, but it's interesting that the Nightsisters knew about them.

    - Not necessarily expecting Abeloth but if it IS... I do still think Baylan's motives could work, if it's not all an accident. Abeloth feeds on chaos and destruction, so maybe in Baylan's eyes, he needs to find her... to kill her. That being said, taking the idea of Abeloth, the "Mother" and connecting it to the Nightsisters, who have their Great Mothers, could be an interesting route. I even recall theories that Talzin was somehow the Mother from Mortis.
