I grew up seeing meerkats in desert Botswana 🇧🇼. They were just the background music to life, as were many other things. Watching this documentary, which is incidentally filmed in Makgadikgadi, Botswana, brought a new appreciation for these rather intriguing creatures. Thank you for sharing your discoveries.

They are mongooses, so, many mongooses are immune to different types of venom.
I’ve seen some take Cobra and Viper bites and recover in 1-3 days. Just like mongooses they’re more resistant than immune. They can die from multiple bites or if they’re really young but generally recover. I would think compared to snake venom, scorpion venom would be considered pretty weak
