- There were other small changes such as making f,F+3 becoming airborne sooner and some damage nerfs to Leo's wall game but overall these changes in this video highlight noticeable fixes/changes to Leo's gameplan and defensive parries.
b+2+3 parry start-up nerf means I will likely have to redo some parry guides as it isn't fast as before. It seems to be more consistent though so I guess that's a step in the right direction.
My thoughts on this patch is that it adds some better offensive strategies for Leo but still doesn't compensate for Leo's weak tracking tools.

I forgot to note that qcf+2,4 also does chip damage on block.
Edit: I did more testing on Leo's b+2+3 parry and there's still instances where it can be inconsistent with the knockdown. Wishful thinking to think they'd fix that.
Which change to Leo was your favorite?
I was so scared that d1 would get neutered and essentially force you to always do the crouch transition because I imagined the +13 would just be crouching frames
But the +13 is standing frames like omg that’s so hype
D+1 changes are my most hype, but the ws 1,4,1 after HB & dash is sweet too, let all the TTT2 muscle memory get some love.
Mahalo Fatalis, needed this.
Im saddened by the b2+3 nerf 😢
brother best leo guide ever made fr fr
I am still so sad about them getting rid of the zoom in effect at 1:14
The change to D1 is awesome!
d1 is my favorite move :D. Finally has its competitive use
I like the d1 changes a lot. Also all our wall combos will have to end with the bok 2, stomp now haha. The qcf 2 >1 changes being delayable will be good bait for CHs. The qcf 2,4 however is completely useless since it can still be ducked. But the d1ch into ws 3,1 into bok stance might be a viable tech now. Ayorichie did a video on ws3 so this patch is kind of like a buff to his video.
It's probably better to use WS+4,1+2 or uf+1,2 after CH d+1 since those can wall splat or knockdown in some instances.
I think you can utilize qcf 2, 4 as safe wall pressure tool now, although it can be duck, you have qcf 2,1 for mid option
That’s the point of qcf 2,1 it’s a mind game, just wish the payoff was better if the opponent ducked.
@@prince.fatalisI actually agree with you on this. IMO, WS 3,1 transition is more viable for light pressure mind games before going in. For CH D+1, WS+4,1+2 is a Heat Engager with more utility. It can heal and combo with Heat Dash and it can get a float trade for mini combo on some types of ATKS like a DF+1 as an example. UF+1,2 is also very useful. its good for a whiff punish close range after side stepping/walking, it is a knockdown with follow up/wall splats and also gain LG. WS 3,1 has been useful and definately should be used ofc. its a decent transition. Its just that those other options make more sense to me. Also, QCF+2,4 Change is good to me IMO because, Yes it comes with the risk of being ducked, but since its coming from QCF+2, your opponent would be have to guess. There are many options you can go for from that and, with it now being safe on block with Chip DMG property, There is incentive to use it more now since it can also wallsplat~
They fixed the parry but not really hahahaha. And jesus c can they just agree on that d1 move already… i think i read qcf 2,4 does chip now? I wish they made qcf 3+4 more useful like lili’s.
😔
This patch ignores Leo completely
The biggest change to me that he become more like a boy than a girl
