How to make a pattern for a cape or hooded cloak

Iiiit's math time! Everyone's favorite, right?
This week, I'll share my method for creating patterns for capes and cloaks, including how to make a hood. Since we're working from measurements, this can be used to fit any doll. Or even a human, if you want! I'll be back next week to show how I put mine together and create a clasp for it.

For those who may wonder, we found a house we love and the sellers accepted our offer. Our loan was approved this week so we will be closing on the new house in two weeks! So exciting! Of course, our current house still needs to be sold, so hopefully that goes smoothly... Excellent tutorial Lomi! I actually thought of making a Cloak for a BJD myself with slits that allow the arms to come through. I'm looking forward to see how yours comes out.

Sarah Longshore I wouldn’t know how to line it but you probably can use something like satin

It can be lined or unlined, but you can use just about any kind of material :D I finished this one not just with a lining but made sure it's fully reversible, so I'll show you how to do that in next week's video. :D

I would LOVE to see you do a tutorial on something like a seamless bodysuit. I've been trying to figure out how they do those like spiderman where they have no zipper. I still haven't figured out the complicated sleeves and shoulders yet either. Keep up the good work!
