    Aimee I have two questions:v 1. How can I fix a slice with my irons? and 2. How do I keep my left arm straight?

    Hi Aimee?
    I always try to follow your lesson. I usually do this practice with my club and with rubber ball at home. .Because I can't practice in driving range regularly. Does it help me to improve my golf?

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shamim,
      Anything helps, but you won't be getting proper feedbacks since you are using rubber golf balls. In this case, it's really important to focus on one or two things that you want to make an improvement on. Whether it's a motion within the swing, or an overall rhythm etc.
      I hope this helps!!

    I enjoy your videos Aimee!
    Just one comment. The video should be titled Let's Fix Your Flying Elbow for less confusion, as "chicken winging" happens with the lead arm during and after impact.

    When you try to keep elbows together, doesn't that great tension?

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, however, the tension is in different parts of the shoulder muscles. The tension created by keeping your elbows together will a) eventually go away once you get used to it, b) much better than having tension in top parts of your shoulders which causes your shoulders to go up closer to your ears.

    Dear #golfwithAimee, do you have any advise for curing golf elbow?

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Khaizal Ozlen hello~ sorry to hear about your elbow.. if you recently hurt it, I suggest icing it within three days of injury. I know heat is better anytime after that. And most important of all, you have to rest it!

    Finally did this at the range yesterday. Tired of my darn chicken wing so I did the two shaft drill at home last week. Yesterday recorded myself in slow motion at the range and I was able to get a perfect “holding a plate” elbow on the backswing. On my forward swing I think I’m TRYING to see some kind of chicken wing but now I’m getting picky. It’s at least a 90% improvement from the chicken wing I’ve had for years.
    My point is, it works. Felt weird at first, like I was squeezing my elbow into myself. After 120 balls at the range… feels weird NOT doing it now. Thank you so much for making it so simple and effective. Headed to the range again today and then 18 on Sunday. 👌🏼
