Can I use seesam tree root as a driftwood. Please tell me.
Dirted tank is best doesn't require any aqua soil which comes expensive
1) use garden soil or soil mixture in base layer.
2) use river sand or construction sand on upper layer minimum 1.5 inch so soil wont leak on Aqurium its been years my aqurium is working great and plants growing very well without any liquid fertilizer.
3) water 30℅ change is must everyday till 1 week so nutrents and nitrate stay minimum.
4) after one week of regular water change. You can reduce changing new water....and once per week is enough 6 hours of light per day is enough at beginning to avoid algae after month you can increse light duration to 8 hours my aqurium is working great its my personal experience.......

Use 3 Liter bag of Amazonia or Tropica soil if you're a starter.

Mere pas 3 feet by Der feet ka aquarium me planted karna hai but budget utna nahi hai.. sirf construction soil me ho payega
agar plants khareedne ka budget nahi hai, to jitna hai utne ka fast growing plants + carpet plants lelo. fast growing plants like Vallisneria bahut fast grow karte hain aur poora tank main bhar jaayenge in 2 months. Carpet plants slow growing hain, par unko fast grow karne ka ek tarika hai outside the aquarium. usko follow karo aur 1-2 months main vo bhi itna grow ho jaayenge ki fir tank main bhar sakte ho. th-cam.com/video/EPAz64_QK7A/w-d-xo.html

I have been in this hobby for 4-5 years and I have tried a lot of things...
plants needs some nutrients to grow, it does'nt grow on bare sand, either you have to introduce nutrient capsules every 30 days either you have to use soil as the bottom layer capped with sand.
Go for walstad method, it is best, budget friendly and successful way of aquascaping.
