This is where i was born n brought up. shah bilawal masjid n tomb we walked passed everyday to go to our school nearby, the college i got my fsc n comprehensive high school my brothers went to. This is the place of where i come from. N i know some of the places where even authorities haven't put up any boards. My maternal grandparents were from lohari gate. They had their agricultural lands in bhagat pura n my Nani n ma told us abt how they could see diyas of meela charaghan at shah Hussain s mizar. This area s so rich with history. Once my nani pointed out a very very old tiny little building n said this is a smadhi. Do visit n explore more of these parts. Wish i could explore with u. Im so passionate abt Lahore's history n honestly seeing ur videos brings such nostalgia.

At the end, Ranjit Singh was guilty and root cause of all this. Why did he overlook Sikhs or Punjabis and brought in Poorbiyas and Dogras? The crows returned to roost and his progeny fell to the same intrigues he played when he usurped the Punjab. Sometimes, son pays the price for the father's misdeeds. Just wondering if two Sher Singhs are confused in this narration. It was Sher Singh Attariwala who fought against the British and other battles. Not this Sher Singh. I think. The vicious deceitful nature runs in the blood. One can witness the same during political circus on both sides of the border. Its a cynical observation but its the reality. I just double checked - it was indeed Sher Singh Attariwala who gave the British an equal fight and not this Sher Singh.

I am frm bathinda ,punjab,india ..and u r right maharaja Sher Singh son of maharaja Ranjit singh ji una ne kai battles ch hissa lya is under maharaja Ranjit singh jido sikh empire spread kr rha se .Sher Singh take part in 1831 in balakot war against afgani Sayed ahmad barelavi and in 1831 to 1834 he acted as a governar of Kashmir ..and he was one of the commanders during the peshawar war ..and under his reign battle of Tibet hoya nd than treaty bhi ho gye se ..so this was maharaja Sher Singh ..duja se Sher Singh attariwala ji son of chattar Singh attariwala jina ne angreja nal 2nd Anglo sikh wars ldiya se And they did beat British in battle of ramnagar and battle of chillianwala .but in the final decisive battle of gujrat Sikhs haar gye se but sir ji confuse kr gye Sher Singh nu Sher Singh attariwala nal ...

Sir Multan,Ramnagar,Chillianwala aur Gujrat ki fight 2nd englo sikh war 1848-49 mai hui thi. Aur is ko lead Sher Singh Attariwala ne kiya tha Mahraja sher singh ne nahi is ki death to pehle hi ho gai thi.. Please research agar karni hai to authentic way mai kiya karyn. @BaalWala

I remember that on 14 September Full moon night day, he was inspecting march past of his army when his own relatives Sandhawalias shoot him dead on the fake inspection of a new gun. Had he not killed, PB would never been under Frangi. We would have been one separate country and living unitedly. Very sad story. You are doing great job by these blogs.
