These interviews have started disturbing me. Sufism is not any theoretical concept that could be explained or understood. Tassawuf/suffism is experiential. It is transcending your conditioned mind and entering into a state of pure consciousness. Once you try to understand it through your mind or start explaining the concept, you possibly lose your state of being - consciousness. Consciousness can be explained by those people only , who have not tasted consciousness but have theoretical concepts.. If you are consciousness, you have already transcended mind and then how can the mind know the reality of consciousness. I wrote a book recently in 2020 on " I am consciousness". This book is on understanding and knowing Tassawuf. It sold like hot cakes in all English speaking countries like USA, Britian, Canada , India as also in Japan and other countries. I wrote the book when I was struggling to be consciousness myself and it eluded me every time. I could write it because I used my mental concepts to describe these states of mind. If I am asked to write a book of that nature today, trust me , I shall never dear touch the topic. Why I say all this is that it is unjust and unbecoming to catch hold of people of consciousness and ask them awkward questions like what is tassawuf, how they achieved it, what is its essence. These people have something in them, which they cannot explain because they are illiterate in the worldly sense and cannot explain the esoteric knowledge through exoteric concepts. It is true that some of them may be impostors and trying to make a living. Even such people also need not be cornered. They will meet their own fate. But in the process , some of the simple folks are being cornered- not a good thing anyway. The true people among them are a very valuable heritage because the enlightenment is not any small achievement. People of elevated consciousness are hard to come by. You can count men of consciousness on fingers in the world. The whole western world which is caught up in material pursuits, mind and matter are struggling hard to understand the true nature of consciousness. So far the west is mistaking consciousness as some function of brain. Now they are realising the truth of life/consciousness/Ruh, with the advances in Quantum Physics. You will see that it is not far off when the people from different places will seek the knowledge of Tassawuff from these simple looking fakirs of Kashmir, who, this time are not able to stand questions of Nissar Sahib. If the purpose of these interviews is to extract information on learning Tassawuf, then it is totally misplaced. Tassawuf is neither learned nor taught. It is bestowed on some through some hidden hand - the universal consciousness- with someone called Murshid becoming a means for the purpose. In the process , people like Shams Faqir, Souch Kral, Ahmad Batwrai, Ahad Zargar and the likes are produced. The riff Raf in thousands are born and lost in the process. Let us live with this process of Peer-MUridi and hope that some shamas Faqir and Rehman Dar is born , even if it takes hundreds of years. It Is a fact, that Kashmir has produced no real mystic poet after Ahad Zargar. Hazaroon Saal Nargis apni Benoori pe rooati hey, Badi MUshkil se hota hey chaman mein deeda war paida.
Shamas Faqeer travelled to Punjab and there he met with his Musrshid.. He stayed for the period of six months outside the Murshid's house, then his Murshid invited him to come inside.. And there Shamas became shamas Fakeer a mystic.. Like Maulana Rumi was just an unknown Maulana. A scholar of Islamic teachings.. But when he saw a great mystic of that time, Shamas tabrezi, He left all his books and literature and followed his Murshid and became Maulana Rumi Rehmatulaialaih.. A great sufi mystic.. matureedi.. And the same happened in Kashmir with Baba Dawood khaki Rehmatulaialaih, and their Murshid Hazrat Sultan ul Aarifeen Rehmatulaialaih. Sufism is a spiritual journey.. and it needs a guide.. who will clean you first, and then set you on a path of spiritual journey..
