This is so awesome. Brings back lots of memories, including graduation. I was in the class of 84. Well done Marc!!! Thanks for such a trip down memory lane.
Very well done. Love seeing these pictures, but didnt see any pictures of any marinas or waterfront homes, cottages, etc. Also dont recall seeing the Shediac Hotel.
I drove to Shediac during my recent stay in Moncton. This New Brunswick town is indeed amazing as it still holds on to its Acadian French roots. If you plan to do any shopping in Shediac, especially in chain stores, the cashiers, shopkeepers, managers, and business owners speak French though they are willing to speak English as well. Even the product listings and signs are in French. I didn't stay in Shediac too long as a thunderstorm was happening in the area.
+John Barrett Nice to hear your kind review John. Just so readers know, the signs are also in English, and all staff can speak English. (I live in Shediac).
I grew up in Shediac all my life! When I was a kid Shediac was a nice quick little town. But now we have all these's new buildings coming in an all that! I miss `the ol Shediac
+AJ Perry Maybe urban sprawl with neighbouring Moncton and Shediac's status as a popular tourist town could have something to do with it. Don't get me wrong, Shediac is a beautiful town that still holds on to its Acadian French traditions and roots.
Grew up in Shediac in the 1980s and 1990s. Moved away then returned in 2016. Very happy to see Shediac thriving.
Trevor Pert we hung out for a bit in jr high and high school. Good to see you are still kickin!

Thanks! I wasn't sure how it would turn out because I had a hard time to match the locations where the 1984 videos were filmed.

The Fade Effect was cool and creepy at the same time we see Places, People & Cars fade away to time.
Just Wow
Nice Video !! Couples of hours to fix it !! .. I love this one :P
Good job, Marc. It would be cool if the same thing could be done with the West end of town, and even the East end for that matter.

Belle job ! Funny but Shediac got greener over the years , the opposite of what you'd expect .
Must say I'm surprised...Shediac is a seaside town but not one shot of water, marinas, etc., either then or now.
Je vie a Shediac I live in shediac
It makes me sad of how much shit we did to all the places in that many years
