These are some notes I took while analysing the qiyana gameplay, hope other qiyana learners find it useful. 1:10 Since Qiyana Q applies her passive, Beifeng keeps alternating between brush and water element to maximize dmg. 2:07 Qiyana Q has has a decent splash range behind the first target hit, abuse that to harass through minions. 6:10 This is the easiest way to get brush element when under your first tower. It's fast and can help you farm under tower if you're getting harassed. 7:45 Beifeng holds onto an element and tries to throw it only when he can pick up a new one with W. Holding onto an element gives you bonus range and onhit dmg. 11:58 His QWQ combo is really fast because he tries to pick up a W with the cursor on top of himself, so that Qiyana barely moves. 12:18 Combo used: QWQE. Used Q before E so the Q didn't autoaim at Samira when she dashed. Was probably just trying to get the 2nd Q out before Samira W'd. 12:44 Combo used: Flash/ER/AA/WQ When using ER (or flash/ER), Beifeng presses E on Gragas to get Qiyana to start walking and then Flashes so that E gets cast. This is so that he has time to move his cursor to the wall and aim R in the right direction. When he flashed, his cursor was already against the wall so he barely had to move his mouse. 15:09 Brush element is super obnoxious to play against and gives you a ton of safety, so try to prioritise that element when walking around or farming in the midgame. 15:55 Combo used: Q/W(aiming at tower to gapclose)ERQ. He missed his last Q because he re-centered his camera before pressing Q. That made his Q go too high. Another possibility is that he intended to recenter camera and THEN throw Q after Sylas landed, but pressed Q too quickly before his mouse was in position. 18:42 Combo used: W/ER/AA/Claw/AA/Q/AA Beifeng pressed E on GP during W animation, then moved mouse to wall already while E starting to cast. Buffering spells like that lets him case R (in the right direction) pretty much ASAP. AA before the last Q at the end to get a tiny bit more dmg while GP is stunned before throwing Q. 19:23 Combo used: QW/AA/EQ For max efficiency, try to grab an element ASAP when you use brush Q. Slight variation of Beifeng's favourite combo (QWEQ), he needed to wait a bit and also AA so that his Rock Q would do bonus dmg. 20:20 Spamming Rock Q and hugging walls for extra movespeed. 22:01 Combo used: R+claw/QWEQ Beifeng's mouse didn't even move with the QWEQ, his cursor was at GP's feet the whole time. Very useful trick as long as you're sure you will kill with the EQ autoaim, since you're gonna be maximum E distance away from the target. 23:51 Combo used: QWEQ/claw/R/AA Classic Beifeng QWEQ combo. R hitbox also reaches around Qiyana so the enemy doesn't even have to be in front of you to get knocked by your ult.

Out of all the assassins I've "picked" up, Katarina feels like she's unplayable compared to Qiyana. Atleast Qiyana can garuntee your q when you combo with e. But with Kat, I just have no control over her knives when there's mutiple people/minions. Just feels like I'm a teleporting melee minion sometimes.
Try to predict Qiyana's q's so you can dodge them with your E. But yeah I agree, Kat vs Qiyana feels unplayable. You can also rush seekers armguard, it's really good.
if you look closely, in 2:17 when she kills Lee. The cursor wasnt even on lee's way and Qyianna's Q follows him along the flash. Suspicious or the Q works like targeted and skill shot :B
E guarantees Q hits if they don't flash or get out of range longer than 550. It used to be guaranteed no matter what when Qiyana was released. Chill out with the suspicions mate.
3:20 I've noticed he liked to go tear when their comp is heavy melee. Especially Champs like sylas where you're constantly poking through his sustain to set up an all in
16:30 I think that was a BUG. Sometimes the Qs of Qiyana doesn't hit. I've seen it in TH-cam videos about that and I don't know if it's already fixed. I just play Qiyana since 1 month ago and I've dont realized in my games. I think It comes from years ago.
lucidity boots will still be great because of how overloaded in stats the item is. 45 movespeed, 20 ability haste and 12 summoner spell haste for 950 gold is huge, especially since summoner spell haste is a stat that you cannot get otherwise( apart from cosmic insight), and the fact that you can have your summs up that much more often is huge , wether its your tp, your flash, your exhaust or whatever the case may be. i think that even if they were 1100 gold people would buy them over sorcs because sorcs now suffer from the same problem that serrated dirk suffers: you build verdant barrier and you mitigate all that flat pen, so the value of the item goes way down, so i think lucidity boots will still be the premier choice for boots, unless you go the deffensive route of mercs or tabis
When something is dangerous it usually comes with a DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME warning and I feel like Qiyana should come with that warning because you'll int 9 times out of 10
Its not a problem if someone tries Qiyana in your ranked game, cause its their mmr. Your mmr does not deppend what others do, unless you duo with them, or they select qiyana specifically when playing with you only

Trick for this is fight then early, and do his caster minion e qq to poke them down when their ability on cool down. Lvl 1 you easy win xerath syndra.
