Especially the lighting used to bring a perspective.. the opening shot was green inside the cell & red outside the cell... it's based on the colour theory to convey the nature of the element on that moment... Similarly while Kokki Kumar invades Moorthy areas you could see the green spreading in one scene on a mapping image.. And to the scene you explained about Kokki Kumar gud side as green is entirely wrong... if you watch that scene closely, selvi will be lighted in red & Kokki Kumar in green but slightly mixed with red & selvi slightly mixed with green.. it means that Kokki Kumar wants to include selvi as a part of himself.. that's why he had red & green while talking, and green alone while selvi was sleeping.. And the movie completely speaks abt Emotion on all levels.. Kokki Kumar wud be a mixture of everything... Fear of life & death in the whole movie... Fear of life while his mother was killed, fear of death while his father tries to kill.. Again fear of life while he begs & sells dope on the road, Fear of death in the market scene before killing Moorthy brother... That's why when he was assigned to cut a man hand as a training Kokki Kumar wud fail.. Cos he was not facing fear of death there, similarly while the whole gang of Moorthy rounds him up, Kokki Kumar wud face fear of death and conquer again!!! This is Selva sir brilliance in screenplay, direction, Storytelling etc... So before posting something like this, watch his work even more deep and do justice to his creation... Can't breakdown a movie better than this. But Paraman and Alagar characterizations are as good as Puthupettai. Alagar died due to the love he had on her ( Meaning the character) and Parama involved in these Chaos due to the friendship he had on alagar (Alagar was the one accepted the murder request) so ended their life.
