EMI is standalone and therefore does not require JEI to run, but if installing JEI it'll show the JEI specific recipes. It's a built-in compatibility provided by EMI.
Only downside to Oculus (to anyone wondering) is that dropped items (i.e. torches, lanterns) do not emit light like they do with Optifine. This also means other players holding a torch/lantern will not emit light either.

I've just started to get into moding and I still have not downloaded any yet because i'm worried that I'll get a virus. if you also do have any more recommendations on what mods I should use to enhance the regular Minecraft experience, please tell me. also, do these mods still work in 1.20.2? also, keep up the good work, this was a top tier video for me.
Try using older versions of projectmmo or emi, and make sure the library mods are working fine. They should work fine without any configurations. Idk what's going on. All of them work perfectly for me.

I record 1080p 120fps in obs! Then export and edit in 60fps with autokeyframing in DaVinci Resolve!

You dont need jei to run EMI. It just takes jei recipes if you do have it. Idk if it works with rei though.

hey I had a question about the backpack mod. How does the upgrading work? It said the smithing table but it doesn’t seem to work for me 😅
You should just have to surround it in iron. So on and so forth.

you need to progressively upgrade it, like from leather to iron, then from iron and up, cant just instantly diamond upgrade or something

Surround the backpack in Iron to make it iron then surround an iron in gold to make gold, so on and so forth

Client side mods should work on vanilla servers, but some servers aren't fans of any mods. Shaders are normally fine and jade should be ok.

@JayTGTmc I was launching through CurseForge and I couldn't put all the mods I wanted in a pack because some wouldn't allow it
Also whenever I try and send make a paste bin it 404s
@robotic-race try removing rubidium and reinstalling it. Ive had it crash my packs before for no reason
