I think the pieces look killer ! I'm so glad you made the video and showed the products. They looked so good I ordered but yet have not installed the complete kit on my 24 F54 JCW. While there are other kits out there these were more cost efficient and available. Carbon fiber would have been more costly. And in my experience any time you have lowering spoilers/splitters etc of any brand, if and when you hit something like a curb, road debris, animal or other object - expect damage. But hey, enjoy the car, pay attention and watch out for those steep departure angles. Thanks again.

Appreciate the comment, glad you liked the video! These parts are a great low-cost option which add aggression and don’t break the bank (especially when you may break them!) 😬

I actually like that you tried something different and that it also gives us your take on the quality of maxton stuff.

That’s exactly it, got to try different things now and again!

@@Carbonwurks I think I placed my side skirts upside down....but everything was impeccable in the placement..do you think that's a problem?

Do you have to drill holes into the car to apply this kit?

Yes, to install this properly you should use bolts and or screws. You could bond these parts on but that may leave more mess if you ever needed to remove.

    Not for me...
If this were my demo car.... And I had a carbon business. It'd be dripping in it.
Forged carbon is on trend, Id do all the gloss blacks in it and the arches! Would really pop against the green and red.

We thought we would give this a slightly different look to normal Carbonwurks style. Watch this space for more carbon however 😉

Maxton stuff is just to thin and cheap , it all damages very easily when on the road ! After 3months on my TCR the front splitter made the car look old and worn I had to remove it , not worth the money or hassle !

It is cheap for a reason but the fitment is surprisingly good and if you look after it, it will last well. Front splitters will always take a pounding however.
