Hey saw you on 1320 got here immediately. I love the fox I’ve got a 89 with a 331 Windsor Paxton Novi 2000 blower Hotchkiss suspension set up for grip so you know I love your car and the adjustable boost is cool have you ever thought about putting a wastegate on your boost pipe to regulate pressure?? I subbed I’m here to watch everything you do with this car its fkn amazing tanx bro😎🤘 PS I had a 89 Saleen in the early 90’s thats when I fell in love with foxes
We have one of the pro charger ones currently. For road course applications the set up is a bit slow for engine braking (runs off of vacuum on the backside of the intake) so I think we're going to go N/A for next year since we're finished developing the boost application products. Should be more consistent and give us some consistency for the big track.
@@CWIPerformance Caught some photos and videos on your website from Road America. The front sheet metal looks drooped and the fender openings unfinished. But I realize that this is a test/track car and aesthetics was down the list. Amazing how you raised the entire drivetrain.
@@mchristr well we ended up customizing the sheet metal on both sides and to get it to mount right it pulled the front bumper up. now that we have the new bumper on it looks alot better. You're right, this is a race car, there's not really a need for inner fenders but the back sides of everything are painted.
As a suggestion, the video should have been a video of the car with the guy’s voice over the video talking about the car’s details. As it sits the video is more focus on the guy per se then on the actual car and nobody clicked on the video to see this guy speaking. The car is cool, would like to see a more close up video of the details in the future.
Billy is pretty tight with the Ford community considering his accomplishments. He's probably just as cool as the car...maybe. But understandable, I'm sure we will be doing a proper walk around once we get the car completed and out of the shop for the first time!
I agree this video should of been strictly about the car and the car alone. I grew up with mustangs in my blood and I never heard of or knew who this guy is and honestly I don’t think anyone cares we just want to know and only see this beast of a machine. I mean no disrespect to anyone but I followed these vids for the car

Great build...What class are y'all running in Optima?..Just asking because D&E is not gonna try to kill your score with just a race interior..Any plans to go further with the interior?...The car is killer and I can't wait to see it this season running...👍🏽🏁

What is the rear end😳?? Forget it you said solid axle. YES!! You couldn’t pay me to get rid of my solid axle but take it easy on the bad geometry you can make it work pretty good with the mounting points it’s got my car handles like a dream not compared to yours probably but she gets around the track FAST faster than most of purpose built weekend racers
@@CWIPerformance thank you I love seeing guys run the solid axle and kick ass these young guys now I think it’s not even worth pulling onto the track unless they’ve swapped out an IRS system from a newer Mustang
@@600wheel definitely depends on what you're doing. We've considered IRS on the fox and the truck... for now though, we're sticking with Keeping it simple and working on driver development

God, most beautiful Foxbody build ever! 🙌🔥
This is seriously the dopest fox build I have ever seen. Well done y'all, seriously inspiring lol
Just found out about this build, this is the best fox I’ve ever seen cannot wait to see more of it
Awesome build guys. The car looks immaculate. I bet you'll have a fun time dealing with some protests.
Ehhh we will see! Gotta get the car sorted before we can really get competitive 😛
Looks great guys!! I’ve been following the build. Can’t wait to see it on the track!
Yall deserve waaaayyyy more subs. Tryna swap my v6 s550 for a zilla...
Wow that's impressive 👍
My favorite car on the internet
Currently about 10 minutes from where that block was cast lol. These engines are wild.
Where were they cast in Michigan?
When he opened the door and it squeaked 🤣😁
lol that pin on door with no grease ftw
BADASS!!!!
Hell yea !!
Amazing.

That car is sweet
I've owned and modified several Fox-body Mustangs but this car raises the bar to a new level. Any more updates coming?
yup! we've started tearing into the front and getting the new bumper // crash bars made.

I'm in love with this built. I still wanna know what mufflers if any are in this beast. The sound is incredible
It has 2 borla resonators and 2 borla mufflers and it’s still LAF

Awesome job. Who makes the switch panel?
Blink Marine, we will be offering a CAN controller along with the keypad soon!
Car looks awesome, nice work. But please change the door hinge pins…. LoL
Lol they need a bit of grease, the doors can come completely off. They are carbon
They are carbon doors with aluminum hinges, I’ll grease them again later, it does not last long…
What is that button panel in front of the shifter? Brand and where to buy?
its a blink Marine CAN controller. You can find them on ECU masters website and a few others!
that a wet sump motor ? did he say "mil-spec" ? what does "quantify" mean ?
yes wet sump, Mil Spec means we used Aviation Teflon coated wire and connectors

How did you come about picking a fox? I love it, obviously but not that beat top tier road race car to start with other than weight.
Bob showed up with It in a trailer one day that he ended up buying for $1000 lol

What’s wrong with the motor? Why do you have to tear it down?
Nothing major, belt tensioner and timing chain tensioner are on different harmonics wanting to destroy each other. It’s on next weeks fox list.
