When I was a kid we had two Fox choppers. One with a LeRoy 4 cyl. engine and one with a PTO, they were both great choppers and we ran several thousand tons thru them. They were so reliable.
I’m wonder what fox’s choppers looked like in the late 50s and early early 60s, I know what they had in the late 60s and 70s but not in the late 50s and early 60s. I expect these were built till mid 50s.
You got that right. Life was better when almost everyone had a small dairy . When I was a kids in the 1980's there was over 300 Dairy herds in our county now we have none . 2019 was the last year anyone milked around here

We had a 1968 Fox Super D self-propelled chopper, with a Detroit diesel, 2 row 38’. Quite the machine back in the day.
Fox was the "Cadillac" of forage harvesters in the 50's.

Our farm started out with one of those in the early 1950’s.
