Great choice on the SOE bag. Definitely a quality piece of gear.
As far as the contents go... I would remove certain items that way you can free up some space and add more useful items. For instance the triage items... in the event you roll up on a mass casualty situation I don't know if cracking chem lights and taking down an aideds pedigree is really a necessity. Same for the IV start kit and surgical tools...without the catheter and fluids what use is it? Maybe adding things like ice packs, instant glucose, more burn dressings, saline irrigation solution, trauma shears, and quick clot could be of more use.
I think the pocket BVM is a great addition and adds a-lot of medical capability in a small package. Same for the litter. Definitely an item often over looked but for such a slim form factor can be really beneficial to have.

    Two recommendations:
    1. Instead of suturing, try super glue. That is why it was developed.
    2. Though the laws may vary from state, do not move deceased victims. When triaging deceased victims, do not move them unless instructed to do so by coroner, medical examiner, law enforcement, etc. They will have to be photographed in place, have locations marked, etc.

As a military paramedic, I will say that having all of your vitals equipment in different pockets makes it difficult to assess any patient. I appreciate you talking about you skill level.

Great video, I am currently doing the same switching from a stomp sized bag to the SOE medical backpack for my vehicle. Everything is well thought out, and will surely be referring to this video.

I like the bag and it’s content. I have a question. How many patients can this kit support? Also, have you gotten a chance to do a dry run with or have someone in the medical field examine it for there input.

How did you get this bag, everytime I look on there website it's unavailable. Since I been through EMT and am now SAR medical it'd be nice to have

They are sold out a lot. You can try the secondary market (eBay) or email them directly.
