  • Round 2 buy back action.
unfortunately I blew it and red lighted.
I was trying g to better my reaction from sleeping in round 1 and bite an even bigger bullet.
it's a double edge sword trying to get that best RT.
oh well though, we had a great time with family and friends.
    maybe next time.

Looks like you moved forward even after the double stage lighted.. Did you get it into hold mode? And barely trigger the second bulb will give you more roll out, and stay out of the water box, But yes looked like you hit it to soon second going to third yellow, and you had to much roll over on the second bulb

With the instant torque and AWD of the Tesla, do you still try and go on the last yellow to get the best reaction time or would you end up getting a red light on that?

I ended up red lighting on this one which is the first time I'd ever done it. This was my first visit to this track and their light was a bit different then I was used to.
But to answer your question, yes I still leave on the last yellow like I would of in the gas engine car.
It still does take it a half second to transfer it and get it moving out of the box.
If you can keep your RT really good, one could own a bracket racing class.
I dialed in a 7.53 and was running it exactly in a 7.50 break out class.
So I was running it pretty tight.

@@SilentPerformanceRacing I raced a few times but I recently bought an M3P and plan on taking it to drag and was looking for advice. I was also curious if you disable traction control by turning on the Slip Start option.

@@StarTurtleZero so I've been playing with track mode on mine a little bit.
It turns off traction control and everything for you. But I almost feel like turning slip start off and creep feature on would be beneficial to get out of the box sooner too.
However track mode does let you 2 foot it a bit too.
