Amchok Phurchung was arrested by Chinese authorities on August 3 and accused of recording songs praising exiled spiritual leader HH the Dalai Lama, Tibet's exile prime minister Lobsang Sangay and highlighting the hardships of life under Chinese rule. Before his detainment he had been hiding in the hills to escape the police for about two to three months. Three monks who wrote the lyrics to some of Phurchung's songs have also been hiding in the hills for over a month and are now facing acute shortages of food.

Very inspiring song , why is he in prison ?
Artists are not allowed to express their inner feelings?
Is a democratic way to deal with honest people ? He is simply expressing his human rights? Where is the tolerance?
People who are Responsable of his arrestation is irresponsible and illegal according to international law .
Hope they will become wise and use their empathy and wisdom to free him from the prison unless they have already done .
Let them live in peace in their own country.
We should never forget the impermanence of our life and the law of causality which is valid for everyone. ✌️✌️✌️🕊
