how hard would it be to make it counter-clockwise rotating main rotor, and put the tail rotor on the left side ? it would have been extremely hard in the days of engine powered RC helicopter, but I would think it would not be so hard with electric RC's.
People have done it. Flip the tail box around, flip the one way bearing, invert blade grips etc. I’ve built at least 10 different models since then. Search my channel lots of great scale videos!
I know this is an older video but wondered how the size of your synergy compares to an xl power 550. I have an xl power and want to put it in a scale fuselage but I’m not sure what size to get. Did you have to stretch your 550 to a 600 size?
I’m not completely sure. I sold that model a few years ago. The modern 550s all have the same similar size. You might just need to trim off some of the fuselage boom like I did to make the XL fit right inside.
Can you put a 600 nitro in it? I know they have a bit of a taller frame. Funky says they have them for nitro, but they don’t have my color. So my question is, is the mold compatible for the nitro helicopters as well as the electric? Any information you could give me I would so kindly appreciate it. Thank you so very much.
Ya the fuselages are the same for nitro or electric. The Trex bottom frame mounts are the same just one has a nitro motor and one electric. I prefer the Roban over the funky. Thicker fiberglass and better paint IMO.
0:34 the doors don't hold in flight and open which is not so good in "product design". Many scalers fix this with srews from the other side. Thus, not sure about this feature in Roban scale. 4:21 I wonder how scaleflying.de manages to make enough space for the entire cockpit interior without seeing all the tech stuff inside in 600 size with their HSM mechanics and frame design.
You’re a good pilot!🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁
I just ordered the last red 700 size from Motion RC as my winter project.Im real excited to build this one.
Super cool!! This is what I want to do! But..Im a beginner right now. Ill get there!
Awesome! I want to turn my 550L into a scale machine soon too. Hope you fly this at your fun fly this year!!!
What an informative video

@@crmodels will a T-rex 550E DFC that is stretched to a 600 fit? Without crazy modification
How much does it cost?
Fuselage is $419 at MotionRC and then you install your own 600 size heli.
Does this item comes with controller and everything?
@@fbwgames8228 No it’s the fiberglass fuselage kit only. You need to use your own helicopter and equipment to install inside.
Got 3 grand to spend on this model?
Just about
