I chose the SLGA019 for 3 reasons: 5-day power reserve, power-reserve indicator on the back, titanium. After nearly 8 weeks it's lost less than 2 seconds, and that was in the first couple of weeks. An amazing watch.
An interesting fact is that although both are evolution 9 watches, is that the cases and some other elements are slightly different. Because they come from different factories being spring drive and mechanical. Check the grooves in the indices with a loupe. The indices from the mechanical watch have a square groove. The ones from the spring drive have a triangular groove...
Hi Brad, first, get well soon: I hope it's not Covid. These are both fantastic watches in every respect: I'd need to see them in the metal before deciding. At the moment I'm leaning slightly towards the steel version, but in reality I'd choose both if I could afford them. 🙂
If they rereleased the OG white birch dial in a titanium material, I’d go out and buy it at retail right this second. That’s hands down my favorite dial
Both look fantastic, and I'd be happy with either one. That said, I prefer the blue/titanium/spring drive, so that would be my first choice-though the high-beat looks better through the caseback.

Great model, continue enjoying it!
Both fantastic. The White Birch is probably the better value for money but both are amazing looking.
Thank you for these great comparison videos. Happy lunar new year and get well soon!
Thanks!

Thanks, had a rough week last week, but feeling better today.

That would be a good one!
Titanium is lighter and resists tarnish. Go with the blue - it costs more than the other but the material is better.
White Birch steel! I like the weight. The heavier the better!

I felt the same...
Is it me or this video only available in 360p? Great content though Brad
