Scanner is for keyboard input and output that is system.in and system.out
but BufferedReader is enhanced class for file reading purpose

Similarly ours south Indians don't know how to use technology where as north indians know how to use technology bcz most of the north indians r following our institution technology and Similarly thy just do some modifications n giving jobs to students .
But south Indians are not doing that .
North Indians learning frm us and providing jobs for us only.

Object class is the super class of all java classes either directly or indirectly

yes string object is changes but we also give the reference to the change object , so that it is not eligible for garbage collector.

You may want to look at this : docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/io/BufferedWriter.html
Usually, PrintWriter is wrapped around BufferedWriter for efficieny.
