Oh my gosh wow! I literally moved from Charlotte to Chicago haha. Hope you guys enjoy the city and all the fun warm weather adventures. I recommend stand up paddleboarding and kayaking 🥰

@@ChristieintheCity Charlotte is basically brewery town, so I highly recommend brewery hopping. OMB is a cool german biergarten style and there are several other breweries walkable from there. You can do a motorway tour at Nascar in Concord area if you are interested in seeing that (big history of Nascar in Charlotte, so its a cool cultural thing). Definitely the whitewater center is amazing. Southend, Plaza Midwood, and NODA are the usual neighborhood recs. Hope you have fun exploring! Let me know if have any questions or anything. :)

OMG you have to go to Seoul Food Meat Co. in South End and Xiao Bao at Optimist Food Hall...SOLID Asian food in Charlotte! Some other spots I loved for treats were Waterbean Coffee, Golden Cow Creamery, and Pepperbox Doughnuts. Tupelo Honey also had a great brunch (must get the house made biscuits).

Also, I meant to email you because before we left, we went to the Pacifica Square food court in Aurora that you told me about and WOW we loved it so much. We tried a couple different food vendors and bubble tea and everything was so good. So thank you!!

Only move to Chicago if you have conceal and carry or bullet proof vests. I just moved out of Chicago after my neighborhood got shot in the expensive West Loop walking her dog during the day.
@@ram_bam I agree completely! After many years in Chicago, we are excited for a different experience and a different place. Plus, this area is driving distance to so many other places, I can't wait to check out other cities and towns in the area!
