I wish manufacturers would make these contraptions a cost-option for those with small families or have the occasional need for an extra bunk. They are typically rated at between 60 ~ 70kg which severely limits their usage and they eat up valuable space as these are often found in smaller caravans with a small side dinette. Or, as Adria does, offer up a variant layout which doesn't have the fold-up bunk. What I find more puzzling is that permanent bunks also have a very limited weight rating. In those instances, manufacturers would be better to strengthen the build so that they could also be used by adults.
Waste of money there. It's the same amount of space has the dinette. Why isn't the dinette the bed like in all other vans / RV's etc. Waste of money and time.
