There was a cute moment between the two of them here. I hope that with this new storyline Ben learns to open up more to Callum and decides to seek professional help.
I think a lot of this is stemming from Lewis being set free and not being charged. He hasn't properly dealt with what happened to him and then pretty much at the same time that he found that out was what he found out about Lola's diagnosis so like that became his main focus and he has had to try and look like he's coping and dealing with it and staying stong for Lexi but now he is beginning to crack because there is nothing he can do to help Lola and he still has what Lewis did to him swirling around in his brain and the fact that Lewis is walking free. It is common for survivors of SA to start punishing their bodies in some way and this is how Ben is doing it. I hope Callum notices and helps him through it.
I'm pretty sure that when Callum finds out he's not only going to talk to him But he'll probably tell Jay too. Ben will probably unfortunately end up being hospitalize either during his boxing training or during Lola's funeral and then Lola's mom will start in on Ben and try and get Lexi. Because if she's capable of trying to break Lola up with Jay after they got married. I winder what else she might do and then where does that leave Ben and feeling better or Lexi with her dad.
@@ninoj3774 I thought so too. But she was on there when Lola made the announcement that she was going to be dead in 6 months. So I was confused about it
@@nesa2000 It’s not that he is keeping secrets. He’s had decades of Phil telling him “Mitchells don’t do emotions”, so he finds it difficult & unnatural to talk about this stuff.
Yeah, I thought that too, Manga baby! There's a scene where you see Ben standing up and you see the whole body ... and he looks quite slim (but still looks great though, not skinny). There was a period a while back when I thought he was getting a bit chubby? Do you think the actor, Max Bowden, might have purposefully lost some weight just for this Ben story-line? Cheers
Ben going behind Callum's back -again! He says "I thought that was your job", and of course Callum wants to look after Ben but he can't if Ben is keeping things from him. The boys clearly haven't learnt the lessons from the past when they agreed on several occasions that they had to be honest with each other. If Ben was my boyfriend (I wish!) I'd be really pissed off if he was keeping this from me. But then of course, the producers and script-writers of Soaps thrive on creating stories with discord and drama ... personally I just wish they would develop some story-lines where the boys were just happy, loving and having fun together.
Agreed. It would be good to see them growing a mature, open, honest relationship … with the usual ups and down. But as you point out, drama/trauma overload seems to be the writers’ m.o.
@@nesa2000 I actually don't know why the writers do this, because it doesn't make the fans happy and doesn't increase the number of viewers? When you read the comments, it's clear that viewers really love it and respond positively when Ben and Callum are loving and supportive towards each other. Cheers David, Terry
ben rubbing callum’s hand🥹

He needs to bring Callum in....
YES EXACTLY. It’s gotta come from Ben’s willingness this time. If not? It’s just rewash repeat

I agree Callum will be there for Ben and lexi
Aww him rubbing Callum’s hand 🥺
But lololol Callum. Dude you’ve been all: don’t drink too much. But then you go get him another drink. BLESS. 🤣
I’m excited about this new storyline. Hoping Ben copes with the situation with the help of Callum of course
I agree
What is Ben up to now? Luv Callum's wink...😊
Ben is holding Callum's hands on the show, I'm Team #Ballum
I see a male eating disorder story line for ben 🤔
I think you're right. I hope he doesn't keep this secret from Callum: enough with the secrets!
I've seen it over the last two weeks
Or just an eating disorder storyline… it doesn’t have to be called a “male one.” We see he’s a dude 🤣.

Poor Ben .
He is starting to look like he has not been eating well. He has lost some weight for sure😢

how does him wanting to go into boxing lead to eating disorder story??
A boxing story is not the way to go with Ben.
Esp. with his hearing implant - unless the writers want to pile another tragedy on Ben.
@@nesa2000 maybe that's what they want. to get him to loose his hearing again like when the boat exploded and he hit his head. (best storyline)!
What training is Ben talking about? Training to be what, or for what?
boxing. Tho most of them are quite friendly and no one will start with demanding a diet like a cult leader.

@alyssa. He’s got to remember he has a cochlear implant.
The scriptwriters have obviously forgotten about the cochlear implant and possible head injury.
