Half of this is wrong, Idk what to say, I learnt this and had to re-learn thanks to my professor! Dysplasia changes don’t happen on the endocervix, it happens on the transformation zone! And dysplasia changes don’t happen from the upper most or superficial layer, they start from the basal layer of the transformation zone, which is the inner most layer!
Some main important points is wrong in this explanation vedios. Main point is cervical cancer it doesn't happens in endocervix because enodcervix consist matured squamous epithelium. The true is, the cervical cancer we can see in (TZ) transformation zone because it consists immature squamocolumnar. As we know where there is a immature squamous epithelium have high chances of getting infection from virus or it leads to cancer. In textbook it's clearly mentioned Transformation zone
Lecture Starts at 9:45
