Still Frames | The Mackenzie

For the past two years, the Mackenzie region has been my home-a place that felt calm, peaceful, and unlike anywhere else I’ve been. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, and where you can truly feel at peace.
This footage was recorded over the course of two years, capturing a bit of every season and the subtle changes in light and atmosphere that make the Mackenzie so unique. My goal with this project was to capture that feeling-the quiet beauty of the region-and bring it to life through both images and sound, creating an experience that lets you feel what it’s like to be there, to witness the stillness and the simplicity that make the Mackenzie so special.
‪@LucForsyth‬ 's "Still Life" was a key inspiration, with its quiet, reflective approach to storytelling and its focus on stillness and subtle emotion.
