    The recent tech bans were a kick in the ass for me to finally get into cryptocurrency. I should have done it years ago. Thank you for all the great info!

    ATMs often ask for a phone number, but I guess with a prepaid throwaway SIM card one could do it anonymously (depending on how you purchased the SIM)

    I have a question that could be good for a next video, how do I ensure that my Bitcoin goes to the family members I want in case I die? I can make a wallet for each person, but how do I ensure that they get the private key without it being compromised?

      @@stickermigtigger I was also thinking of doing that, but I want to structure it in a way that I don't have to trust anyone, so in case I die a series of events is triggered that are secure and nobody knows about it

      Give some of the 24 words already to the beneficiary and the other to the executor. After your death, they have to combine them...

    simple, generate your own private keys, how on earth could they connect you?

    • @JamesThompson-oz8kh
      @JamesThompson-oz8kh 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Every hardware wallet randomly creates its own private keys. The problem is that when you have coins sent to the Bitcoin addresses generated by those keys the sender can make the connection if they have your personal info. An exchange certainly will connect the info, an employer may or may not, and a stranger won't. A Coin Join or Tumbler won't either.

    Bisq seems like a great BTC DEX - still though, if you attach your bank account, you're eroding your privacy.

    when FBi says "we're fine with bitcoin" and Tor networks abandoned it that shows how useless it has become. Monero is better.
