I think he does take more breaks when the majority of the games are in halftime in the first set of games because they can play one game until he is finished with his break. On the afternoon/evening games, he takes the breaks when most of the games are in halftime, and I think he takes more breaks then because there isn't much action going on so they just keep it at one game if it is worth watching. I think you will notice that sometimes you don't hear him during the afternoon games when a game they had on suddenly goes to commercial, and then they just switch to the other game without any commentary from him.

After watching this, it created a great appreciation for what Scott and his team does. It is not all glitzy and this man gives it 110% every week. Looks like a lot of hardwork for the team for 7 hours straight.

I would love to see some more behind the scenes of this especially the control room in how the dial up all those key plays and mix the sound with switching between commentators when the go to triple box etc. Amazing stuff every Sunday. Watching from Australia I miss half of Sunday games (3-7am Monday here) but when I wake up Monday morning freaking love turning on red zone and watching the last few hours!
As someone who can film a video with energy for maybe a hour straight and feel tired or my vocals start hurting, I have the utmost respect for Scott being able to go 7 HOURS with non stop, high action energetic commentary. Absolutely remarkable!! It’s one thing to sound bland with a normal talking tone, but to give that loud energy it freakin drains you yo! Redzone is the BEST and only way I watch football

I have NFL network and my last 5yrs I prefer to watch Mr Hanson instead of a full game, that over time it becomes boring, with Hanson I go here and there, up and down the country. Excellent. Job well done.

I will always watch the whole Niners game if I can, whenever they play and watch redzone for the other window. But if they are on prime time then I watch redzone all Sunday. So much better to get all the good action than flip between 2 full games where there isn't as much excitement.
