I wonder if people could achieve a significant face touching accuracy by making use of a wide angle fov lens and touching a rounded glass or other transparent wall. The convex angle of the glass would create the visual distortion at the edge of the visual space and also scale better to head shapes when pretending to touch the cameras ‘magical see through face.’ Perhaps it would even make vr youtube ASMR viewers get that extra boost of immersion
