Very nice ideas. Really helpful and eco friendly too. Keep it up. Thanks 🙏 I would like to share my efforts in this eco friendly field since last 45 years. I use to wash the bed sheets , pillow covers properly and make small pieces to use for new born babies in civil hospital for those who can not afford too many baby items for cold days. I use to sew short hoodies , turbans for them . I gift 🎁 it. Some ladies do not use sanitary napkins. I sew sanitary napkins out of the cotton bed sheets and teach them to use it and throw it in every month. I gift 🎁 at least 50 such napkins of cotton bed sheets to the woman who work to construct road or on construction site.
I always keep bedsheets and matching pillow cover together inside one pillow cover so that they dont get misplaced.hope u liked my idea for organising bedsheets and matching pillow covers.
I almost forgot about your suggestion for making vegetable bags for fridge! AWESOME idea! I especially hate how spinach gets slimy so quickly, and I use a kitchen towel to roll spinach leaves up in one layer. Now, I’m going to make bags from my old sheets! Thanks 🙏! It makes such good sense!
Excellent idea.and I too have been using these ideas from so many yrs .thanq for this video.and there's no shame in reusing old bedsheets n curtains in creative ways.
I used to work in a nursing home. I used old bedsheets to make my uniforms. I cut old towels, tshirts, and jeans into strips, braid them, and make floor mats. Old towels make great baby bibs.
These were all really great ideas! I especially liked how well you explained everything! It makes it easier to understand what you're talking about versus someone who just plays music in the background and does not speak to their audience. 👍Thank you so much! ❤
EXCELLENT suggestions from beginning to end! You’re house is as beautiful as you are! Thanks for helping me and my friends repurpose our expensive sheets and towels! I felt bad about tossing out sheets that I paid over $300.00 for! Now I will have beautiful placements, napkins and runner for my beautiful dining table! Also totally love idea for towels made into rugs, for bath, kitchen and especially melting snow from boots and shoes! You’re beautifully awesome and posh, while thoughtful of the environment!
Great video. Your bed sheets and towels looked very usable still, but if they are worn looking, faded, or not in the best shape, dog and cat animal shelters are happy to get them and reuse them for cleaning rags, cage liners, or towels to dry off animals after baths. If you want to go to the extra effort, you can use them to make some beds for animals that would otherwise have to sleep on the hard concrete floor. I'm loving your videos! Thanks for the ideas.
Ma'am your ideas are amazing 💞👌 I'm trying your previous tips for dusting off ceiling fan with a old pillow cover. And it's work fantastically well. So thank you ma'am for sharing this amazing tips and tricks all the time 🙏💞
Loved your ideas. A long while back, I sewed bench covers for the benches that went with a picnic table because as it got older, the wood seats had splinters. They covered the benches & by making them oversized & doing some tacking stitches at the corners allowed them extend down over the sides about four or five inches all around. The matching table cloth had a hole cut in the middle to allow for the umbrella; just hand sew around the hole to stop any fraying. Sew plastic cups or mugs with embroidery thread, one on each corner, to keep the cloth from blowing up. They hang down a bit and keep everything in place. I used an extra sheet set & had enough fabric to double layer two benches and the table. I did it on the spur of the moment, with no planning, on my sewing machine but everything worked out great. Gave it all away when I gave the table away!
Very useful video. Large bedsheets can be made into protective bed covers with elastic in the corners. It can also be used for making appliance covers. Bedsheets can be used as linings and fillings while getting A.C. quilts made....2 or 3 bedsheets for one.
Amazing video ideas mam. We can also use cotton bedsheets and stich them double folding and use it for base for.ironing cloths. And old bedsheets and pillow covers can also be used as wardrobe drawer liners as a base
Good and very useful video...Pls do a video on how to reuse kids items.. Especially rubber sheets, bibs, padded nappies which are outsized, baby quilt etc...Also do a video on hardware and tools organisation..Lot of us need tips on that...
Love you maam. You and your ideas are simply exceptional. Your video is power packed. Moreover the things are not looking as made from old stuff. Thanks you saved me from throwing away all my bedsheets. Now i am going to make table mats, Suitcase covers, window blinds at the moment. Love you and god bless you.
cant tell u how much i fell in love with ur videos!i wish i have some time to watch all the ones i missed earlier!i watch them in between my clinical work!so inspiring to get home and be a good home maker too!!
Really good ideas👍👍 I have used the mid part of my bolster covers as table runners and they look superb. Will try to share pictures soon. Also, have used single bedsheets as dinner table (4 seater) cloth🙂
Faded old bedsheets can be used as 'use and throw' kitchen napkins to clean surfaces. Cut them into preferred sizes and use. Old bedsheets can be used to cover sofas when you go out on vacation to protect from dust
Wow ! How creatively you used these things🙂. It's always a treat for eyes to watch your videos & I loved your beautiful well organized house. You are fav!
Thank you so much for this video... Very very beneficial one... You definitely deserve a great thumps up... For ur kid too for taking part in this video.. Waiting for ur next video.. All the love from Kerala.. Stay blessed..
Excellent idea... hv lots of old stuff,,, wondering what to do with that bcz just shifted new home... dnt want to through that,,nw i can reuse...thanks for video..💕💕😍😍
Really helpful, useful and ideal DIY ideas ma’am.. I hope I could get these stuff stitch properly accordingly.. 🙈 love u always as I always used to do. I have already used most applicable things from your videos in to my storage. Tnx heaps for these stuff!! 🥰
Wonderful tips. We make many items from your video like aprons, grocery bags and especially string bags to stow away winter wear. It really helps them to be moth free and dust free without use of toxic moth balls. When I was in school I made school bags from sturdy trousers. But surely learnt something new 😊
I like your chanal and your ideas for organising and all other. I made 70% items from what you have suggested. And i was thinking about runner from curtain.
I liked the video. But I want u to make videos on Sustainable living/ lifestyle. sustainable fashion. sustainable use of old clothes . so that we all can reduce the carbon footprint and protect our nature. Instead of buy new thing we may use our old things and give it a new look. (1) using old bedsheets for making caddy for refrigerator (2) microwave covers (3) AC cover. In older times our grandparents use to reuse each and every cloth/ thing.
Yes, I agree with you. We should try reusing the old items and give them a new look. Will try making a video on suggested topic. Thank you for suggestion! lots of love!
Lots of good ideas. A few I never would have thought of. I especially like the idea of luggage covers. Every time I get our luggage out of the attic, they are so dusty that you have to wash your hands afterwards.
I admire your videos very much. Old pure cotton sprees and bedsheets are a very good material for making small patterned bed spreads for babies. In Marathi, they are called godhadi. You may call them rajai. Multilayered and are frequently stitched in patchwork patterns. Ecofriendly too.
