Someone re-painted part of the frame black. From pics underneath when commenting about the "coating" flaking off the rear diff, can see frame rail painted outer side and bottom but not inside aspect. There you can see the age & wear of the vehicle.
@@stfhaha1963 This one does have a super charger so it will sound different. Plus it's in a spacious garage which probably makes it sound noiser. But I'm not saying it doesn't have knock, not an expert.

This year n style of toyota to me is the Best 4 Runner ever n the White paint 🎨 stands out frr....
If only it had the sport trim package, it wouldve been the ultimate 3rd gen 4runner.

That thing has some sort of a tick/ knock to it

All Toyotas have that ticking sound. I’ve owned 5 of them. It’s normal.
