Under the first removal plastic cover you was hoovering out the leaves and dirt. But what was that plastic filter type thing at the bottom? Yellowish colour.
Thank you for your comment BMWModz! 😊🙏🏻 No, I didn’t cover anything, I was just very careful. I have never had any issues after washing it. But! It doesn’t mean that nobody can have issues after cleaning the engine bay - as not all cars are in the same condition. I just wanted to show that in this video how I have cleaned my engine bay - it was not a proper “how to” video. Obviously, if someone has sensitive or exposed parts/cables, etc., those have to be covered to make sure those components will stay dry or kind-of-dry. Most modern cars’ engines are sealed and therefore waterproof, that is why I was not concerned about my car. 😊
it doesn't matter - Of course you can, if that’s needed. At this time, my engine bay was only a bit dusty, that’s why I didn’t use degreaser. If the engine bay is worse, you can use a diluted degreaser; if the engine bay is very heavily soiled, covered with nasty, embedded grime and grease, that’ll need a neat degreaser. 😊
the engine bay is designed to get wet, but a pressure washer can force the water through the seals of electrical components due to the high pressure of over 1000 psi. Use a normal hose instead.
Nicely cleaned, TOP, only in Switzerland you would pay a large fine to wash the car engine anywhere except for the one provided in the car wash. In CH, you are not allowed to wash your car in front of the garage, only in the car wash.
Dear Adam, thanks very much for letting me know this information, I absolutely believe it to you, but unfortunately it’s totally irrelevant in this case, as it did not happen in Switzerland or CH. I’d never do anything illegal. In England we can wash our cars at home. 😊
@@HypnotizinDetailz Hi, very nice video, will need to try this. Does the water not get stuck in the under tray or is there a exit in the under tray for the water to leave from.
@@TheGmiah - Thank you very much for your appreciation and comment TheGmiah, I’m very happy that you’ve enjoyed my very first video! 🤩🙏🏻 To be honest, I don’t know the answer for your question as I have never seen my car underneath. 😁 There should be something... I didn’t see anything that should make me worried, also the car is working fine. 🤩

It was the filter for the drainage perhaps 😊

did u cover the alternator or other electrical parts?
Nope, as you could see that. 😊
Can I use degreaser?

That’s why I use reduced pressure - I wouldn’t do anything that could damage my own car (or anyone’s). 😉

@@HypnotizinDetailz Of course, in England "yet" is not illegal, you are still a little freer than us in CH. 😊

Super clean :)
Thank you very-very much! 😊
Where does all that water go?
The water goes into the drains and sewage system.
