My favorite thing about this anime. Is that the main character is a man in his 30s. Instead of some 14 yr who is strong because he wants to protect some 14yr girl from being sad and somehow not kill any of his enemies. I love the helicopter massacre. I love how they dominate the empire with technology. I love how they think Itomi is weak, but it turns out he's a special forces bad ass. I just love this anime. I've seen twice while I was on deployment. I hope there's a season 2

Technically no, just a misuse of words about what is actually happening, but what can you expect from a channel from overseas (most likely) that uses AI voice over and a script. Should be more like, "Otaku JDF soldier goes to another world after and invasion of his world, and reveals his world's overpowered combat capabilities." Honestly, the first 3 words of that title would be a better starter of a decent hook.

Algorithm strategy. It is tough to maintain an audience for more than an hour on these types of videos. There is a bell curve on what the average person will watch for each genre of video based on the demographics the video targets. I would watch way more than this, while others might only watch like 19 minutes before becoming bored. Have to balance it out.
it would be cool if gates opened in other countrys that lead to the same world and after a cuple years there would probobly be a normal thing going from world to world
No offense or anything but it seems downright stupid that a large group of Roman knights and monsters had randomly showed up in modern day Tokyo Japan through a gate and most of them get shot at. But still a very interesting story nonetheless.
The best part about GATE. Is the recreation of the helicopter attack scene from the 1979 movie apocalypse now.
