This is where we went every Summer when I was a kid. To see Grandma in Long Holler. These are the places I've been to see over and over again when traveling with my sisters. It is always like going back in time, and always a bitter sweet experience. I love Scot Co. Virginia! Never been to Creation Kingdom, though, so now that's on my list for sure!
I live about 2.3 miles from the fort there--- 2 miles from the high school.. grew up here.. was in CAlifornia for 30+ miserable years.. finally ESCAPED. I wouldn't trade living here for anywhere else in the world-- and I've been all over the country.
