Close, but the intro is actually from a game called "Barbarian" that I played on my Tandy 1000 PC back in 1990 when I was like 7 years old. (you moved and attacked with F1-F9) Loved me some Gauntlet tho for sure.

Felling Axe is really good if they are close range or fighting back, but the super short range on it sometimes becomes an issue.

Yeah ranger was rough, but the feeling of firing 5 arrows into a barb point blank like a shotgun still makes me smile.

Per the video, I believe I was running Toughness, Iron Will, Axe Specialization and 2H Weapon Expert. (you can also swap in Savage for Iron Will if you'd rather have an armor boost instead of magic resistance - your preference)

Balancing was pretty decent this last playtest. Barb shines when they get buffs from wizard/cleric.

@Frankie Ruffino any class can be good, just depends on the player. Barbs just seem to think they have infinite health and can 1 shot anyone so they just rush and die

Solo v duo/trio is near impossible in this game, would like to see a solo only mode with a duo only mode as well, because it's basically impossible to hold onto any good loot in solo, you will just eventually die to a 3-man team that's running a Claric, Barb, and ranger, or swap the Claric with a Mage

u can go rogue or wizard. wizards haste with invis really helps while switching to hands for faster movement. you just have to pick ur battles and play it safer of course.
