Motivated by the LOVE of MONEY, two men had robbed a bank. They both were eventually captured and taken to jail, tried in the court of law and were found guilty of the crimes. They both had received a 15 year prison sentence 😞 After serving 15 years of hard time for their crimes, they both were released from prison just to reoffend ONLY months later. For their second offense, they both received a life sentence.
Motivated by the LOVE of CHRIST, two men (Paul and Silas) had been preaching Christ crucified in public. They both were later accused and taken to jail for their alleged crimes of destroying a $orcerer’s wicked income. Without giving the two men a fair trial to determine weather or not if they were guilty or innocent of a crime, they both were brutally beaten and thrown in jail while being closely guarded by the prison guards. Both men were eventually released from jail and by the grace of God both of them were determined to keep preaching Christ crucified to a fallen and rebellious world 😁

22) The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and BEATEN with RODS. 23) After they had been SEVERELY flogged, they were thrown into PRISON, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.
Seek and honor CHRIST, not WEALTH and POPULARITY!
