***** I was reacting to his comment: 'no leaders have seen the places he has'... my point was, if you want an example of a UN leader who has seen more of the good and bad in the world than probably anyone to walk this planet then Sergio Vieira de Mello is a good choice. As much as I love Louis enjoyable, uplifting blogs let's not go over board.
***** As I said I'm not afraid to be a critic of the UN, but I still think it's main intentions are genuine. But it's also flawed as an organisation. (I've been to Rwanda, not the UN's finest hour)
This is going to sound really creepy but I think its so cool to see youtubers in places that I have been before. Like I literally wore that hat on my head when I went to the UN to do final voting for the Montessori Model UN I did in March. SO COOL
also tell basically every country to stop pretending like they are all positive and the good guys. No government is good in this world. . . UN is a joke.
+MsLegalRegal Right, the country whose electorate twice elected a black man to its highest office clearly needs a lesson on race from all the many UN countries who have never once elected a racial minority as leader. If you're worried about open seasons on black people, you should count up the number of black people killed in various coups across different African countries every year.
This video just showed me, how happy and proud I am for being a International Relations students. Being able to make a change in the world someday and knowing that there are people out there who thinks the same way is awesome. Thank you Louis!
Awhile back I commented that I was not watching anymore videos because I felt I was being "sold" too many things. Now I realize how asinine my comment was. It has been a gift to watch him navigate through being true to himself and his viewers. Louis thank you for finding a happy medium between, what is necessary (commercially) and what is honest.
Just by going vegan you're helping feed hungry mouths all over the world, saving the environment and improving your own health, and honestly that is amazing in itself. One person affects many and makes a massive difference in the world.

Louis you should enrool in the 11 goal, the sustainable cities and communities. i'm urban planner from colombia and i will be delighted to work with you making things happen for better human settlements!
"Lower energy consumption" *uses 18 projectors* Hahahah too funny. But what an amazing opportunity Louis. Thank you for taking us along the ride, most of us will never get to actually witness this!
This is awesome Louis. I respect you so much. You travel and have some amazing privileges and you take the time to see what you can give back to the world. There aren't a lot of people like that out there!!! KEEP BEING AWESOME LOUIS!!!
Louis, you should really consider stop taking the Uber everywhere, it's not good. Why you may ask? 1. Uber’s happy smashing taxi unions. 2. Misogyny from the top. 3. It doesn’t seem to care about female passengers. 4. It knows where you are…(Thought your data was ‘de-personalized’, anonymized and aggregated? Nope!) 5. …and where you’ve been. 6. A metric obsession. (Depending on who you trust, Uber drivers can be sacked if their average rating falls below something like 4.6 out of 5 stars.) 7. It pretends it’s not actually a taxi firm at all. (Instead Uber insists upon calling itself a ‘marketplace’ in which drivers and passengers are simply matched up. In doing so, Uber side-steps the regulatory questions connected to licensed taxi firms, like in Helsinki, where Nordic operations manager Jo Bertram described Uber as offering a ‘different kind of service‘ to that of a taxi company.) 8. ‘Dynamic Pricing Model’. (AKA, Uber’s very own algorithmically-calculated price mechanism. Ride demand and driver supply combine to ensure the ‘correct’ ride price is figured out. Except no one outside of Uber knows exactly how the algorithm calculates such costs.) I wouldn't normally urge anyone to not use Uber, because I don't want to get in their face. But I do know you're a guy who care about human rights, people and sustainability. Uber is not good for that.
+Davisx3m uber is just a modern day taxi... taxi services need to keep up with the times. kind of like how youtube and netflix are replacing tv. they're more convenient. (also, can you please explain what you mean by they don't care about their female passengers? i've had nothing but positive experiences with uber.)
+Davisx3m I've used Uber, and I've heard snippets of the stuff you have cited before, but when I thought through every one of your points one-by-one, i realised how much I disagree with you. I don't know if I'm right on all of this, but this is just my experience. Here is what i think: 1) Competition for business isn't a bad thing, the only reason current taxi drivers have a problem with Uber is that it provides a better service than many of them have been providing for years. Complaining about that doesn't help anyone. 2 & 3) Sadly every company *still* has problems with sexism, even at the top. As a woman, the very fact I can always get an Uber if I need one, rather than having to stand around in the dark on my own waiting for a taxi to come past is massively reassuring. I'd say that is more important than a couple of bad apples at the top of a company. 4) & 5) Most companies use location data. Every time I use a map or post a photo I'm signalling my location. It doesn't really bother me. As if anyone would care where I got a taxi on any occasion. 6) Is it really so bad that drivers have to adhere to high standards? What you are really saying is that poor drivers should be ignored. I don't want an unreliable/rude/aggressive driver... is that really too much to ask? 7) Not sure I really care about that. If I can get a good, quick service from drivers who want to do the job they are doing, why does it matter? 8) What is wrong with having passengers pay more for a taxi when there is high demand in an area? To me it makes sense. Uber/Airbnb/BlahBlahCar (Louis should try that when in France & parts of Europe) are all examples of the sharing economy, something I think makes our world a better place. Trying to stop this progress which has blossomed out of technology helps no-one, and if I'm honest, I don't think it will work.
+Davisx3m A few questions on some of your points: Why is opposing taxi unions an inherently bad thing? Why should they be able to get laws passed that prevent them from competition? Consumers benefit from greater competition-not less. And to what extent do you extend this theory of job protection? For example, should laws have been passed banning the emerging automobile industry for the sake of protecting the horse-and-buggy manufacturers' union? If not, then where is the line? Why is government regulation the only valid form of regulation? When people get an Uber, they are able to see crowdsourced ratings and reviews on their driver. That's more than they can expect when they hail a taxi and know nothing about the taxi driver other than that he is licensed. If people feel that these reviews are a satisfactory enough form of regulation to feel safe using the service, why shouldn't they be able to make that decision for themselves? What's wrong with dynamic pricing? All they're doing is offering a price for a service. Anyone who thinks the price is too high is free to simply decline the offer. The benefit of dynamic pricing is that it helps clear driver shortages during high-usage periods by giving additional drivers incentives to go to the busy areas. The alternative to dynamic pricing wouldn't be just as many drivers at a lower price-it would be a shortage of drivers. Apparently customers are willing to pay more to get a ride when there aren't drivers available, otherwise the dynamic pricing model wouldn't be profitable.
Hey Louis, What you had for dinner is called 'Dosa'. It's an Indian dish with origins from South of India. It's made of rice and is considered as a staple food for many in southern part of India.
Nice, Louis! Its great to see that you are involved with something that im working on here in Brazil. UN rocks, even though i have some criticism about their function and actions.
What you ate was a Masala Dosa. Stuffed dosa basically. Its a very popular south-Indian dish. Eat it here everyday. You eat It with chutney (can be tomato, coconut, mint or other) and sambar..which Is like a dip.. It didn't look like a really good Dosa .. You should have one when you come down to India sometime... Either In Chennai or Bangalore. You'll love it! :)
that looks like the iPhone 6s Casey was playing around with and made a 4K vlog on. Maybe you should film too much of you using a pre-release iPhone because Apple are pretty bitchy about that. Louis and Dave Chilling at the UN, Gotta love it :)
Does anyone know what camera/lens Louis uses? It looks fantastic.
Can't wait when we head for New York :) again. Every time I see it I am missing it.

Hey Louis. I read that too much coffee can give you major headaches. Just wonder if you get them? As I noticed I did , so I have reduced in take in morning and taking breaks from drinking coffee.
Your vlogs are so entertaining to watch!!
loved the positivity in this vlog
The big wrap that you & Dave ate is called Masala Dosa which is a famous South Indian dish :D
is it just me or is Louis the coolest man in the world?!! ❤️❤️😂😎
i can't believe how close he is to 1000 days
Former New Zealand Prime Minister in the background at 11:08 who is now Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme... See you did see some presidents/prime ministers :D
Louis, are you the new ambassador for the new recognised nation of Funforlouiasia?? In NE Asia.
That's why I originally thought he was attending.

And other little things that can make a difference like when you buy a new iPhone don't get the charger and the EarPods, because certainly you have them already.
Sprinkleofglitter is doing something with the UN as well because I saw something about the goals that you mention on her video.
How can we get involved? E-mail every Arab government and demand reforms. Arab governments are regressive and just improve.
Excited for your next few vlogs!
Louis! I'm addicted to 1010 game. Thanks.
i was just there on National Peace Day. i feel like i just missed you guys
I'm loving the quality of the Sony camera. Maybe I should get that instead of canon. Thoughts anyone?
banki moon at the end, hes awesome
Not going to the UN tomorrow?! That is a huge event you're invited to...
Louis, can you include your location in the title of a video?
How are the vloggers getting the iPhone 6S early? Who else is getting one?! :)
+Chris Prouse #12 responsible consumption and production....just a thought!
U. Engelmann Yeah, I totally agree - I've had my last phone for about 4 years now. I definitely don't upgrade every year :)

Watching Louis read the 17 goals and thinking to myself damn America is trillions in debt and everything they tell you is a lie. How are we gonna accomplish 1 goal?
Nice U.N. commercial!
That start of that song made me think the video was skipping and i was so confused
Same here man!
seeing an old UN guy wearing a VR headset is really comical for some reason

How did he get the iPhone 6S? Is it even out?
