Have you ever worked in health field in any foreign country? Such mistakes happen everywhere in the world but we try to minimize its occurrence. That is why we count the instruments before surgery and note it and count them after surgery.

Yes, people get sued. Do they win the cases. In some instances yes. Have you heard of surgery being done at the wrong body site. That is why in recent times we make patient draw or write on the actual body site to be operated on.
Our country in work in progress. We are also improving. Ghanaians health provide have assessment skills unparalleled. In the advanced countries everything is about diagnostic tests. They are good and very expensive.
So we must continue to advocate for patients, improved services, good customer care, and improvement in management of resources.
How many of the health care facilities in US are owned by the local governments, states governments and federal governments.
In Ghana the state owns most of the health care facilities, employ the doctors and health workers,and also operates the national insurance scheme.
In the US even the Medicaid and Medicare is stated implemented but federal sponsored and issued by private companies.
We may only see the bad side of the health system in Ghana and throw light on them to make us look so terribly bad. The many lives that our health institutions are saving go unnoticed. As we talk of the bad issues happening in Ghana, we must as well celebrate the successes in the midst of very constrained limited resources

There's something suspicious about this tape. The counting doesn't sound natural to me!! I'm sure the cyber crime unit of the Ghana Police should be interested. And just by the way, even if the counting was wrong, this would be corrected when they come to the ballot accounting. There's no way the mistake will stand unless all of them have agreed to do the wrong thing.
