Thanks, I’m super stoked and grateful. I feel I have the best following of people who not only enjoy my content but are good people who want to see others succeed and that’s what it’s about..🙏🏻❤️
Where did you get the clips for underneath the chrome trim in the back? I am restoring my Dad’s 83? Thank you. Love Project Brat you and Paris have totally inspired me to get mine going
IWire 3D printed mine from a Google search but I’ve been thinking if you used “puddy” epoxy (not liquid) and smashed it into the holes taping off the area you wouldn’t want it. I bet you could drill some holes through it once it hardened to hold your chrome on. (Just a thought)
Well, I think an EJ22 will be sufficient power and reliable enough for Paris to daily it more. Maybe down the road when she has a bigger budget to work with.👍🏼
So glad i found you 2 dropping tons of knowledge on this car, just picked up a '79 brat, need to figure out what to do with it. do you know if the engine bays have same amount of space from 1st to 2nd gen?
1st-gen Leone has a sliiightly smaller distance between the front frame rails. If you take a long-style push-bar from a 1st-gen and mount it to a 2nd, the rear cross-member bolts line up with the bar's mount, but the two front bolt holes on the bar's mount are narrower than the two front bolts on the 2nd-gen engine cross member. Think of the frame rails as a letter "A." The 1st-gen frame rails are angled more sharply together as you move towards the radiator compared to the 2ndGens.
Single port heads on the EJ? Does that make it easier to mat up the old header, or are you using an EJ header? Too bad you aren't rebuilding that EJ... Throw a 2.5 shortblock in there and make a high compression Frankenstein :)
@@BuckyLasekOfficial The '90 - '95 EJ22 still had the Dual-Port exhaust. '96+ 2.2s have single. There used to be a guy that made single port 2.2 headers circa 2010. He had a website with multiple other homemade Subie headers. Might still be around.
When I was strong in my late teen years I was able to lift them 1800s out myself, nice to see a super clean brat
Maybe Buck Y could be a stunt-runner in Hollywood? Good action-mimic like Tom Cruise! 😉
Like a year of no brat content that we are only here for fact
We’ll have more soon.👊🏼😉
Paris, you are so blessed to have such a cool dad.
🙏🏻❤️
Da Brat is back! Love that Paris is involved with her vehicle!
She wouldn’t have it any other way.
Congrats on 50k Bucky!

8:40 where did you go for Lunch ?
Love it, a Gen II with an EJ22, the fastest and easiest recipe for a rocketship you can get.
Yes brumby time thanks buck and Paris for the content sik

I thought you guys where going to drop the ej251 from the 2.5rs
This motor/trans came out of a buddies Brat so the swap made more sense.
Awesome! What are the plans for the old motor and trans? I have a first gen that might need it.
It all went to Chris at Subieworks for his Brat.
@@BuckyLasekOfficial solid, looking forward to seeing y'all's progress on this
Did Jay Leno blow the motor?, lol
Should do a skateboard race.
Love me some BRAT content. Y'all going to add a "T" to that EJ22?
“I almost had you!”
I ran like the for my dog the other day. Maybe 15 feet and still can’t get the pain out of my back. Damn I’m out of shape
Hahaha
Bro tried to grab the trunk , he would’ve been done
I think the tailgate would have come off first. 😂

Whoa dude is that your wife?
Really??
Kind of feels like you're forcing this one... Just let your little one breath...
Ok? I don’t know what that means?
@@BuckyLasekOfficial lol exactly...
Is the transmission a 5 speed out of the gl wagon? Was it a straight swap with all the gear ratios and everything
Yes, an adapter plate was needed.
