Gadi acchi hai but BS6 phase II engine me bahot problem hai. Very frustrating experience. Post sell Service is pathetic. No peace of mind. Buy on your own risk

I have sold the car. It had problem in combustion. I faced thrice in 3 years. I wrote to Tata motors. They directed me to local dealer. The dealer told me that the engine oil gets mixed with diesel and it produces lot of carbon due to improper combustion. All fuel nosels with ejectors were replaced. It costed 65000. The dealer told me this problem is there in small 1500 cc or less BS II diesel engines. Not seen in larger cc engines like in Safari. They said its more common during city driving. The remedy suggested was to drive on highway for 30 km at low speed.
It is not feasible to leave our work and go for drive. After repairs I asked whether the problem will recur again but their answer was not assertive. The build quality, safety, comfort, milage was good. Petrol or cng doesnot have these problems.

Bhai 2 sal se uper ho gye hai mere pas altroz xz diesel hai. Gadi chalte bi local hai . 28000 se upal chal gye aj tak dpf ki koi problem nhi aye

@@prashantsunariya7986 ha isma adblue nah dalta kyuke isma LNT teachnology ka use karta ha jisma small amount of nox (harmful) gas release hota ha jisse yeh LNT system uska khatam karna ma success ha kyuki iska enigne 1.5 ha chota diesel engine but bada diesel engine ma required ha usma LNT system kaam nah ayega SCR kaam ayega LNT ka aur ek disadvantage ha ke isma regeneration frequently hota rehta ha isiliya fuel average affect karta ha. isiliya tata apna chota diesel engine ma LNT deta ha isma cust0mer and brand dona ka cost saving hojata ha.

Same meter hai petrol or diesel models mein , they didn't care to give a different meter for diesel model.
