Introduced to this wonderful band while in the Kobe/Osaka area in 95-97 in rebuilding post earthquake. Have. had the fortune to have traveled from Manila to Chiangmai. to Hong Kong. I learned so much about respect and dignity in Japan. (am from L.A.). At 77 and a new widower, the civility of Japan, like no other, calls. Only suggest this song needs more “Cowbell!” 😎
This band is very underrated, I have all their albums , in the 80's I heard ( Another Place ) got hooked since then and they never failed me in any albums till their last album (2020).
Along with Weather Report, Hiroshima is one of my favorite jazz combos of all time! Great musicianship from all five members. Special shout out to a fellow bassist, Dane Matsumura for his exceptional touch and sensitivity on the Jazz Bass!
