The wife is a real Drama Queen, I don’t know if the guy cheated on her or not I haven’t watched it, but it looks like the “other woman” is his work colleague and of course they are going to be together a lot working, if it did go beyond work and he is actually cheating with the girl physically or emotionally ( both are cheating) then she did the right thing divorcing him, but now she needs to move on and let him go, change the locks on the door, pack his clothes and set them outside the door, lick her wounds and move on, the dinner with the friends (and the other woman), the calling him to come home is all just nonsense and makes her look Stupid!! These women in these Asian series are just way to dependent on the men, they need to grow a backbone and learn to stand on their on feet and take care of themselves, there may not always be a man in your life, marriages and relationships break down for many reasons, divorce, death! Women need to be taught to be independent
Hey, I wouldn't like another woman clinging to my man AND despite knowing how she feels about it, he goes and hangs out with her anyway. After hours! He hasn't cheated on her, but he betrays her trust simply by being too close to his co-worker, even knowing that she is in love with him. As for women being stronger and not dependent on men, that exists all over the world. It's a common psychological dependency that not just women but men go through. Some get out of it, many don't. As for "Asian" series. Have you watched our American soap operas? Come on! Or Telemundo? That's all I can say.
As an older American woman, and having dealt with many divorce cases, I can tell you the majority of American women are educated and well able to take care of themselves. In a divorce case, they keep the home, the children, and half of everything owned, and are paid child support until the children are 18, ( unless there is a prenuptial agreement or it can be proven the wife is an unfit Mother or has Mental issues, which can be hard to do), if they get a really good lawyer they can end up with more especially if it is a case of Adultery the Mistress could have to pay back to the wife half of everything the husband spent on her during the marriage. Now if you are talking about some kind of emotional dependency a woman has for a man, I suggest she get counseling to discover her own self worth, if you are talking about physical or emotional abuse then the woman needs to get out of that relationship with the help of professionals, family and friends! As for American are any other nationality soap operas I don’t watch any. I do watch well written and acted foreign films and I guess that’s why these silly clips keep popping up, as I said I didn’t watch this show or even all of the clip, just read some of the comments, and feel this sort of thing sends the wrong message to young women (in my opinion) the reason for my previous comment

I was married twice and divorced twice. And I can tell you that when each of the divorce was finalized, I couldn’t get away from my ex fast enough and vowed never see my ex again; let alone having a divorce dinner ! Ha !
