We need to hear more and more of this korero. Pakeha wonder why a seperate health system is needed for Maori and what is said in this clip explains it perfectly. I am pakeha but I know the depth Maori have for the knowledge and skills of the elders. If only respect of the old ways of all indigenous cultures we would have a better place, for us, for the land, for the creatures. Nga mihi nui. I believe a separate health system is needed for all peoples as an alternative natural connectivity to self, place and spirit alongside or instead of the current paradigm. Choice, knowledge, education and discovery and recovery .
