Amazing matches and ggs on the tekken god promo! I shall use thie video to help improve my own kazuya, im getting closer to fujin, currently flame ruler
Sure bro, so I took time out and visited your page and watched your videos. I see that you are a P1 mishima player. My first advise for you would be to start from P2 and harness the best skills like quick electric, quick wavedashes and then move to P1. Mishimas can be utilized to full potential on P2 quicker then P1 if you're an arcade stick user Unless if you're a keyboard or mixbox user then P1 makes sense. Secondly, know your opposite character's weak side because in order to survive in higher ranks you would have to rely heavily on sidestepping than back dashing. Lastly, Tekken 8 requires speed in execution - you need to think fast and execute your moves quickly - your response time should be one step ahead of your opponent. A few things that you cannot leave home without as a Kazuya player are as follows: 1. ff+2 should always be used to test your opponent mid game. If your opponent likes to sidestep then do it after 2xwavedash or 3xwavedash that should always catch them sidestepping. 2. Always test your opponent's low read with db+4 and if he's weak then go with hellsweeps. Try to abuse db+4 more if your opponent doesn't know how to handle it. In my opinion db+4 is Kazuya's best low. 3. Opponents who like to rush in more - always keep 1,2 checks to fend them off and you may finish the full string and it might catch them off guard sometimes or if you can pull while standing moves quickly then ws+4 or ws 1+2. 4. Try to utilize d 1+2 low more often and especially after moves that have delayable follow ups like df+1 series or df+3 or even ws +1. Chances are it will catch them on reaction on counter hit most of the time. 5. Always sidestep or backdash (sidestep is more preferable) if your last moves leaves you in -2, -3 or -4 on block. Few examples are 1,1(-1) or 1,2(-1) ws+4(-3) 1,2,3,4(last hit -2) ff+3(-3) so far I think these tips will help you go to the next level but try to watch videos of good players and see how they react or how they move against different characters.
