Noooo!!!!🥺😢😖😭😭😭😭 I’m sorry to hear that this happened! I’m not sure why it’s doing that. I’d try calling Fire Lite/Honeywell, just to see if they may know what’s wrong. Questions: 1. Does the panel power on with just batteries connected? 2. Are you going to get a new panel entirely, or just a replacement board? Good luck!!!😉👍
Your voice is a lot deeper than it was when you first got the MS4! BTW it’s the notifier SFP-2404 I believe it may be SPF, actually I’m pretty sure it is SPF (I have one)
I know what’s the problem for the MS4, The transformer could be the problem, if a wire cuts off, it would be 10V or something. This same happened to my MS4 before I gave it away to a fire alarm enthusiast member. Well he says that it works fine.
Question: my building has the same panel and I’m the one that maintains the building. Today it just decided to beep due to low battery 🔋 can’t really call the tech cuz it’s late (mission) and I’ve already acknowledged by pressing the button. but still beeps. Should I disconnect battery? Or do it from the breaker . As in shut the whole thing down?
Shutting off breaker and pulling batteries would work i’d check with fire department and asked them if that’s OK you just don’t want to become liable if for some reason if there is a fire and there’s no fire alarm system
This is a BIG RIP. Im sure you can get a new MS-4 or Other Fire-Lite panel for 200 - 800$ from what I know Oh wait nvm your going to get a replacement board.
L-Series Fire&Saftey I won’t be using it for the system because I would have to make a lot of changes but I might put up mini system with it at some point
That’s super rare to see that issue a chip on the board might not have been working after wire was disconnected

Panel does not power with batteries and I will be getting a new board
@@nics-systems-electricso like an emergency light, it dosent turn on with batteries unless you apply 120 volts?
Poor MS4.
The beeping blue my ears off though
I'm sorry your panel stopped working. You can probably get a replacement board for your fire lite ms 4.
Rest In Peace MS4

TxMeterBoy J from the images I have seen online it’s SFP 2404
Yes, it’s SFP
Luckily my MS2 still works fine:) I never knew that button existed, but now I know not to mess with it
Same here with my notifier SFP 2404
Rip MS-4, it was a good panel until that day.
You should put up one of the EST panels you got if you can
Thunderbolt 1003 I won’t be using any of them for the system but I may try and set up a small system at some point with the EST Quickstart
They are called mapfault panels
Well, that sucks.
Hi-Smart Alarms yeah I’m going to get a new board for the panel

😢 i loveed its battery dates, but that's unfortunate. Especially thinking about it too😢😢.

Rieon Yeah it seems to be the cheapest option
PICKLE 700 yep! Im sure re-wiring and re-programming should be easy since its the same panel. :P
That's sad :(
Sorry :( Are you going to get a new panel? If so I would get an MS-9050UD
I’m going to get a new board for the MS4 and addressable panel would be nice but I don’t have any addressable Devices
PICKLE 700 ok, sounds good!
It's probably a dead CPU, if it stops running then nothing happens from that "reset" state.
One of the connections were loose so I restriped the wire and it works
look like a lamp test
what does that black button do?
the battery's expired a year before this video was published
No the batteries from this system were still used until earlier this year
RIP
You might as well use your quickstart now
L-Series Fire&Saftey I won’t be using it for the system because I would have to make a lot of changes but I might put up mini system with it at some point
Can I have it
FlukyDesigns I don’t have it anymore
PICKLE 700 oh do you have any other broken panels idc if they’re broken or not not tbh
FlukyDesigns No
I fixed my panel
RaccoonAlarms 57 nice
I uploaded a system test I'm very sorry about your panel
Million dollar cut
