Love your philosophy about crafting! One doesn't have to empty their wallet to be creative. I've started making more embellishments and I have to say I like and take more pride in my finished pieces. It's as if something had been missing and I've found it! So thank you so much for sharing your techniques and your mantra, "never, never waste"!
Fiona, I absolutely L-O-V-E your dress form!!!! You are so talented and I am so grateful that you share your talent with us!!! I am so thankful that I came upon your videos - looking forward to a lot more!!! Lorraine from Ontario, Canada
Hi Fi, you are such an inspiration and are so talented!!!I just love visiting you everyday and getting new ideas without having to spend a fortune since you give us so many alternatives...how cool is that? Thank you for explaining so well and sharing with all of us...we love you, Fi... Denise Trottier
Love this lady! Practical and common sense and honestly makes crafting a pleasure by taking away all the footery pernickety things that some videos show....and yer crafts are gorgeous into the bargain. Thanks a lot Love Light & Blessings x
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such an amazing creative inspiration to all of us!! I am a newbie and trying to get the courage to do videos of my own!!
Good morning Fiona!! Thanks for sharing this. Wonderful idea and much cheaper than buying them. I just got a great idea of making some pretty Christmas Dress Forms for my tree! Wah La! LOL! Thanks for sharing this idea. Book Marks and Christmas Decorations! And Door knob decorations. Your spoiling me!! LOL! Have a great day my friend. Neat that we can make our own idea too! The Christmas will have to be smaller in size but would look adorable on a Victorian tree!
I do really love watching your videos Fiona, I've learnt so much from you and I get a lot of inspiration. You made that dress form look so easy. I am trying to make a template right now for future use. Thanx Lorna
I looove them !!! And i totally agree with your changes.. Thank you so much.. it reminds me of my childerhood when playing with my Barbie !!! So now i have a pretext to play again !!! LOL
TFS Fiona, the dress forms are soooo pretty!! I love how you inspire and teach us to do things on our own!! Enjoy your two weeks of non stop crafting!! LOL, Aeral...;)
Hi! Great idea, I will give this a try while I'm home recovering. I should be able to work at my stamp table next week. I've been doing a lot of cross stitch while I'm not able to be on my feet.
Hi Fiona. Another brilliant Demo, Shame I can't draw, lol, So I will look for something that has a curvy line to help me out still be cheaper than a die. Thanks. Fiona you are so clever and talented thanks for all the great vids I love them all. Also belated Birthday Wishes to you I hope you had a great day,
Fabulous Fiona! I can't afford the specialised die for this and after watching your vid I don't need to buy it! Thank you for simplify the process hugs Karen x
I love this Fiona! Thank yo for showing us how to do this... I don't have the T.H. die & really don't want to buy one & now I don't have too! Yippee! I am going to give this a try for sure... Huggs, Gale The Happy Stamper :)
I saw Gabrielle Pollaco use a corner embellishment to make a fancy foot on the bottom of the dress form. She joined the right angle of the corner to the bottom of the pole, it looked really cute, just thought I would pass that along.
If you have any colored stamping pads I have learned to use them for distressing. Works almost as well. Just regular stamp pads dye. You can get them in Ebay in all sorts of colors and save some major bucks! That's what I have been doing. I love those Copis Markers too but my gosh! 80 dollars plus shipping. No way!! So I use colored pencils instead!
