Actually in question interest in PPF is 15,000 but in solution in tx.book are 5,000 that's why I think that lottery price are give for 10,000 to tally.

No bro ppf and lottary ticket are different. Sir had forgotten to explain about ppf why he wrote 5000, here I explain you👇
As per under section 10, government always gives you 10000 exemption on your ppf investment so 15000- 10000= 5000ppf only taxable

Ha ppf 5000 hi aayega sir ne usko explain karna bhul gaye..as U/S10 pff me 10000 tak ka exempt milta hai so 15000-10000= 5000
