Very interesting to watch! I've just started learning (trying to learn haha) mission pinball so this video was helpful. Could i make a suggestion? I'm more visual, face to face type of person so when i played around with mission pinball's tutorials i had some troubles with some steps (example lights and a few other things) and i was wondering if you could create a video on those tutorials and giving a little more details on what they're saying? But overall keep up the good work! :)
Thanks :-). Good idea. I guess we could do the tutorial together. Would be fun for me as well. Guess the last time I did the tutorial is like four or five years ago ;-).
@@jabdoa I'm actually building an Arduino based machine with 3D printed mechanics, but I still am gleaning some really solid concepts that apply to my project from your videos. It means a lot that you're willing to share your expertise.
How would you do a mode where there are a number of shots lit (ie, left orbit, left ramp, right orbit, right ramp) where the shots can be hit in any order, but each one should u light after being hit. Once all are hit, light something for jackpot. State machine is great for sequential shots but I can't figure out how to set up a set of shots that can be collected in any order.
In that case I would use all of the shots as a condition in your state machine. Each individual shot can be tracked by counters/shot devices or other means. Makes sense?
@@jabdoa Yep, that helped, got it working now. Thanks for the quick response! In the future, should I be posting these types of questions to the google group or is there somewhere better?

Thanks for the great info!
Thanks for the feedback :-). If you got wishes for additional topics to cover please let me know!

@@GSeymore Sounds like fun. The good thing about pinball is that you can explore many areas and learn so much stuff along the journey.
@@jabdoa For sure. Building pinball is proving to be great motivation for learning opportunities in mechanical, electronic and software engineering.
