This is such a good little band, so I was surprised to hear several saliva cracked notes from the Trumpeters in their first number, but it was a credit to them that they realized and all drained the instruments quickly, including the soloist who drained hers before starting and played perfectly. Of course all brass players can have that problem and the players may not realize until they hear their output, so I'm sure their teacher forgave them. I thank all of the band for a lovely show. In retrospect, I noticed that the Sousaphone player also seemed to have a similar problem, so as I have listened to the band several times in the past I think that it may not have been the players' faults at all, but possibly the P.A. system or the camera microphone might not have been able to capture the very high quality of the sound correctly. Of course I respect the band highly and hope that readers of this comment will not think I am attacking the youngsters. Far from it.
LOVE ME SOME TUBA SOUND!!! LISTEN to that TUBA!! THE BOLD, HIDDEN SOUNDS ARE POWERFULLY AND MASTERFULLY LAID WITHIN THE MORE NOTICEABLE SOUNDS OF THE OTHER SECTIONS. YET, THE TUBA HOLDS ITS ON AMONG MANY IR FEW!! #PLAYTUBAPLAY!!
У нас, я такого задорного маршевого оркестра не видел. Есть в военных училищах музыкальная кафедра. Они тоже играют и ходят. Может быть, делают нечто подобное, но это не попадает на видео…
Another great high school band. I particularly like their rendition of 'Killing Me Softly With His Song'. Thank you very much for this video.
ありがとうございます、神戸広陵見たかったです
Wonderful! such a unique band - well done everyone!
I am so impressed with the Senior High School Bands from Kyoto; They are exceptionally good! Thank you for the video.
Excelente inspiración para mis presentaciones.
